History: Franke Payne, who had been the original Constrictor, left a woman by the name Sandy, shortly after their son was born. It’s unclear if Frank and Sandy were married, or if the child was born out of wedlock. Though this young boy grew up loathing his absent father, when Frank Payne passed away from a terminal illness, in his will, he left his one true belonging to his son – his Constrictor uniform. His son took it on and adopted the name as the new Constrictor.

The criminal known as The Wizard had a meeting to discuss the danger of how Victor Von Doom, better known as Doctor Doom, had taken up the role as a hero known as Iron Man. Victor had too much information on too many villains and could use it to invididually hunt them all down – and it’d been during this time, when Victor as Iron Man had come for the villain Chemistro, that they planned to ambush him – an ambush that Constrictor was a part of.

It was a short while later that Constrictor was hired by an individual named Liwei to break into the home of Danny Rand, better known as Iron First, to steal the Book of the Iron Fist. Constrictor demanded double the price, and when Choshin, who had been the intended buyer, refused, Constrictor revealed he brought Serpent Society to back him up, and now the price was tripled.

In the meantime, Danny Rand, the Iron Fist, turns to an old enemy, Victor Creed, better known as Sabretooth, to help identify the the thief posing as Constrictor. Sabretooth, who had worked with the original Constrictor, a long time ago knew the scent had been similar – but it was not the same Constrictor that he’d known (and who’d also fought Iron Fist, long ago). The duo had arrived just as a fight had ensued, and Constrictor who had tried to flee, had been poisoned by the Rat of 12 Plagues, and Chosin was able to claim the Book of the Iron Fist. Sabretooth, who found Constrictor dying, listened as he spoke quickly of his relation to Constrictor. Sabretooth took him and rushed him to a hospital, saving his life.

Constrictor, however, would continue his criminal ways, as he later joined The Hood and launched an attack against Victor von Doom in the ruins of his castle. Constrictor would later show up as a member of the Serpent Solutions, working for Pit Viper when Pit Viper introduced their newest member, Titanboa.

Constrictor, and the rest of the Serpent Solutions, would eventually be defeated by the AVENGE.R.S. and forced to stand trial for their crimes.

Powers: Outside of the Constrictor suit, he had no powers of his own.

Constrictor Suit: Cybernetically controlled, electrical-powered coils that could extend up to 30 feet and be used as whips, capable of rending steel and lesser metals. They could be controlled to also entwine and object or person and constrict with a maximum force of 115 pounds per square inch. Once securely entwined, the cables are unbreakable, capable of killing an average human within seconds. The types of coils have varied from Adamantium to Vibranium. The control for the coils is located in the headpiece of the cowl of the Constrictor’s uniform. The coils have also been used to discharge electricity, to shock, stun, or render a person unconscious, generating up to 35,000 volts of high frequency electricity.
