The issue opens up with Robert da Coasta, better known as the New Mutant member, Sunspot; followed by Warlock, also from the New Mutants. Warlock talks about their most recent adventure (which happens in the Fallen Angels Limited Series). The Spider-Man villain, Vulture robs an armored truck and Sunspot and Warlock give chase into an abandoned building.
Franklin has a dream of what he believes is a Snark Ship (but is actually Warlock in the shape of a ship, with Sunspot riding on top). He uses his “Dream Walk” to contact Power Pack and warn them that he thinks there’s Snarks in the neighborhood.
Franklin shows them where he saw the Snark enter the building and Power Pack attacks, and quickly discover that it’s actually Sunspot and Warlock of the New Mutants. Sunspot tells Power Pack that they’re aliens from another dimension; and Jack explains that they’re also aliens too. Warlock asks Sunspot why he lied, and Sunspot explains that he recognizes them as Power Pack, because other members from New Mutants had met them previously; and Jack explains he lied because they have never attacked friends, and felt foolish.
Together they see a car that’s got a flat tire being bothered by thugs; so they go down and assist and get the tire fixed; but that car turns out to be chased by police, which they assisted in escaping accidentally by fixing the tire. They quickly make amends by stopping the car; but Sunspot tells Warlock that they must leave, but can’t go back home yet. Sunspot and Warlock spot what they think is another villain and attack; but it’s just Spider-Man in his black costume. Depressed Sunspot asks Warlock to leave again; but Julie recognizes the low self esteem. She says they need to somehow help them. Julie keeps her form at eight feet tall; appearing full sized, but maintaining her molecules, something Jack was never able to do.
They use various pieces of costume and clothing to create a ghost like appearance for Julie and trick Sunspot which they do; but Sunspot delivers some hard hits, and Power Pack freaks out thinking Julie might be hurt – but it turns out she shrunk herself and clouded herself away. Sunspot realizes what they had done and slips further into depression, but Warlock grabs Sunspot and says enough is enough – Power Pack went out of their way to prove what a hero they see in Sunspot, so he must be the hero that they think he is. Warlock grabs him and blasts off towards X-Mansion, home of the X-Men and the New Mutants. Power Pack heads home and changes into their normal clothing and is greeted by their angry parents who put them on restriction, and the idea of revealing their powers to their parents comes up again.
