Mayhem comes out of her ship, firing the gun and explaining that she will usher in the new era of the Snarks, and that she is the rightful heir after her mother, Maraud’s demise. Franklin, in the ensuing chaos, explains that Mayhem was one of the monsters from his vision.

Power Pack, Franklin, Kofi and Princess Djinna all return to her small ship – and attempt to escape – but Mayhem catches them in her tractor beam and begins to reel them in – that is Mayhem’s ship is also attacked, which frees them from the tractor beam – but looking back they see that it’s a massive Brood ship that has attacked Mayhem’s ship – but why, when in Franklin’s vision Mayhem and the Brood seemed to be working together?

Inside the ship, the Power kids explain to Princess Djinna that their parents don’t know they have powers – and that Kofi’s father made it so they’d never realize the kids had powers – except, at times when weird things happen – it seems through their unconsciousness state of mind to their conscious – causing odd effects. The sound of battle awakens the parents of the Power kids who check and discover their children are missing! Princess Djinna turns her ship around and uses a tesseract that will prevent time from passing for the next 48 earth hours.

Aboard the Brood ship, where Mayhem had been pulled into – the Queen brood, Queen B’rute, asks what Mayhem’s interest in Power Pack is – as the Brood have plans for them. Mayhem explains that she has no interest in Power Pack themselves, but rather the ship that the Snark princess, Djinna has – as it rightfully belongs to Mayhem since it was original her mother, Maraud’s ship. Queen B’rute explains that – perhaps then they can be temporary allies, if Mayhem can track the ship Power Pack is in – she can have her ship, if the Brood can have Power Pack – and so the vision Franklin had, comes to pass.

Meanwhile, back on the beach, having been called by Katie – the smartship Friday arrives and sees the drawings from Franklin’s vision in the sand and detects the temporal anomaly surround the home of the Pack family. Franklin sends his dream-self to meet with Friday on the beach and explains that the Brood are also involved and that they need to go to the X-Men’s mansion to get help from Kitty and Wolverine, who’d helped fight the Brood in the past.

Back with Princess Djinna and the others – they find themselves entangled with unusual squid-like giant monsters trying to consume their ship! The Power Pack kids, with Kofi leap out – and try to deal with the monsters – and manage to get most of them to leave – the one with the ship continues to try and devour it – Princess Djinna leaps out, but a moment later – the ship explodes with Franklin still in it – and a Brood ship makes itself known!
