Cybersamurai (Cyburai)

The Cybersamurai all served the Japanese crime-lord, Tatsuo. The New Warriors fight Die’ode, Elec’trix, Fu’se and Vibrato – and after a long fight, it’s only Fu’se who remains standing when Tatsuo appears and calls the fight to an end. Tatsuo offers Night Thrasher the information he’s looking for about the Taylor Foundation (New Warriors Volume 1 #20) in exchange for the New Warriors walking away and leaving Japan’s business to be handled within Japan. Silhouette, Firestar and Speedball don’t agree with letting the heroin that the Tatsuo Clan are shipping to go unchecked. Night Thrasher disbands the New Warriors and departs.

Later, Die’ode, Elec’trix, and Vibrato would be killed when Hiro (one of the members of the Cybersamurais) in an attempt to allow Bobby Drake (Iceman) to escape with Opal Takana (who had been Hiro’s ex-girlfriend) self destructed his armor – killing himself, as well as the other three Cybersamurais who’d been there to reclaim Opal and take her back to Japan (Uncanny X-Men #289 and 290).
