History: Residents of Springdale began noticing that their cats were not coming home; and most of them were turning up dead. Concerned for their felines (and logically, that there was a serial killer in the making), the citizens of Springdale began protesting to try and get law enforcement to look into the slayings of the cats. The news began to cover the story, and this finally caught Robbie Baldwin’s attention. While going through a park, Robbie spotted someone wearing a rat mask and a rifle and changed into the Mask Marvel to stop him when he saw that he was pointing his rifle at a harmless, domestic cat in Springdale’s Hammond Park. The Mask Marvel fights him but is kicked away and the Two Legged Rat makes his escape. Robbie spots Niels heading for Hammond Park, after thinking that maybe Claude might be the Two-Legged-Rat “Cat Killer” – because of his hatred of Niels. Robbie ends up following Niels – and discovers that Niels is tracking the Two-Legged-Rat (as most cats do track and kill rats!) – and the Masked Marvel joins the fight, forcing the Two-Legged-Rat to miss his shot at another cat, that an officer happened to be near by. The Two Legged Rat kicks the Masked Marvel away after the Officer fires a warning shot, nearly striking him. The Two Legged Rat ditches his mask and gun, and evades capture.
