History: Arthur Bigelow was an insurance investigator who used the knowledge from his occupation to his advantage as a criminal. When he arrived in the small town of Springdale, he went on a crime spree, and seemingly always knew where his victims stored their valuables. He decided he needed to do one more big score, before leaving Springdale and considering some retirement – and that next hit would be at Maddie Naylor’s antique fair. Fortunarely, Maddie’s son, Robbie Baldwin, was there and changed into the Masked Marvel and engaged in a fight with the Bug Eyed Voice, where he managed to knock a wire loose and disorient Arthur long enough for authorities to come and arrest him.

Bug Eyed Voice joined the Speedball Revenge Squad, and took the job to capture Niels; but with the arrival of Speedball they were all defeated and arrested again.

The Bug Eyed Voice made another attempt at exacting revenge on Speedball and planned to attack him in Madison, Wisconsin – only to have his plans foiled by Squirrel Girl, who happened to be present. Fortunate for Arthur, since he was only equipped with paintball guns, he was only charged with a misdemeanor.
