Once again, the ever resourceful Corey, of New Warriors Continuity Conundrum, delivers news of another birthday, of yet another person involved in some way with the New Warriors – this time it’s Mark Stegbauer!
Mark was the inker on the second Nova series and also inked pages in issues of the original New Warriors series and New Warriors Annuals.
However, he is most known as the artist on the young adult series Ghoul Scouts. He has also contributed to DC’s Justice League Task Force, Mike Baron’s Badger, and the 9-11 Emergency Relief benefit anthology from Alternative Comics, among others.

Mark is the best! Here are two sketch cards I have from him – the Namorita came from a pack, and I commissioned the Speedball! The Namorita is from 2020 Marvel Masterpieces, and the Speedball is from 2021 Black Diamond, known as an Artist’s Proof – when an artist makes pack-pulled sketch cards, they’re given extras for commissions!
