Around 1993, a New Warriors story was written by Fabian Nicieza and drawn by Manny Malan. The dialogue was done by Dan Slott. The story featured the New Warriors having a poker game together while Nova (Rich) and Laura Dunham went on a date. The date was interrupted by Nova’s old foe, Firefly.
