Adrenamix, a subsidiary of the Gaulthing Corporation had collected over 106 runaways, assuming none would ever miss them; and used them in genetic experiments, which typically had fatal results for the runaways exposed to the various testing.

Only six of those runaways managed to survive the genetic experiments and were “reborn” with new and unique powers. When Alison Gaulthing (daughter of Anderson Gaulthing, the CEO of the Gaulthing Corporation) discovered what her father had been doing, she ran away. Anderson sent four of his test subjects – deeming them the “Psign of the Times” to track her down and bring her back. However, in her attempt to escape from the Psign of the Times, Alison fled to a roof then tried to make the jump to another roof and plunged to her death below.

When Justice had tracked the suspects for Alison’s murder to the Adrenamix Building, he was ambushed and attacked by the four members of “Psign of the Times.” Justice, experienced fighting teams, during his time with the New Warriors, defeated them. Anderson Gaulthing was arrested for the kidnappings, and Psign of the Times was shipped to Project: PEGASUS for further testing.

First Appearance: (In Shadows) Justice #1 (1994), (Fully Revealed/Named) Justice #3 (1994)
