History: Suffering from the death of both of his parents, Delbert fell on hard times and turned to drugs to ease his pain and suffering, rapidly becoming addicted to the numbness. He eventually was jailed repeatedly for his drug use, and eventually earned a reputation as someone with violent tendencies. Outside of prison, Delbert turned to various chemicals and drugs to enhance his natural physique and gained the reputation as a mercenary for hire. As he continued to use the drugs and chemicals to enhance his abilities, his mental capacity suffered. He is eventually hired by Trevor Madsden to protect him against Night Thrasher, but Night Thrasher pays Tantrum double, and Tantrum turns on Trevor, leaving Night Thrasher to question him. He eventually learned that he also had a brain tumor. This pushed him over the edge and he began seeking out innocent people, whose necks he would snap. He promises Night Thrasher that he will keep killing until someone puts him down permanently, fearful of dying from cancer, but still unable to kill himself. Night Thrasher renders him unconscious where he is taken to a hospital. Dwayne pays for the surgery to have the brain tumor reduced; relieving the pressure on his brain. Once his body is cleansed of the drugs, Delbert’s intelligence returned as his powers faded. His neighbor, whose throat he had slit previously, but she survived, thanks to Night Thrasher; took him under her wing and began to care for him, since he had less than a year to live. He began to give back to the community as much as possible, with the little time he had left on the world. The court surrendered him to his neighbor, Mrs. McCann. He contacted Night Thrasher again, when a supply of his enhancement drugs was stolen by some of his friends, as he hoped to destroy it. He helps Night Thrasher, in his weakened condition track them down; and eventually the community comes in to make a stand as well.
