History: Heidi Franklin’s life began as an exotic dancer; however, seeking quick money, she volunteered to be a part of Genetech’s research in creating superhuman begins. When testing was done, she found that she had gained the ability to stimulate a person’s pleasure centers in their brain; including the ability to render her victims paralyzed. She quickly mastered the ability to project this power through the form of a psionic whip.

Early on, along with the rest of Psionex, she found herself in conflict against the New Warriors. It wasn’t until Psionex broke free of Genetech, that Pretty Persuasions returned to exotic dancing, using her powers to enhance her performances.

When the Superhuman Registration Act began, she decided to sign up and register herself, rather than have the Thunderbolts hunt her down.

Psionex turned up again, during the Superhuman Registration Act as a part of the Maryland Initiative Team. Their current whereabouts since then remains unknown.
